This coffee is from a single producer, M. Bekele Legie, who owns a private medium side farm in Yirgacheffe. This type of coffee from individual producers is more common in Ethiopia since the liberalization of the industry in 2017. His land, given by his father in 2008 is located in the district of Konga, where they are well known for producing some of the best lots in Yirgacheffe. He processes his cherries with the natural method on his drying beds. Bekele Legie is seen as a model farmer in his village.
